A 30-minute forest trail leads to a granite slab and the São Conrado hang-gliding ramp, with a clean 180-degree view over the beaches and Pedra da Gávea. Away from the city restricted zones, this is one of the best legal spots near Rio to fly a drone at sunrise. Bring grip; the rock is steep at the top.
